About Your Trip

Escape the everyday with a well-deserved DreamBreak and enjoy your DreamTrips™ Membership a different way — on your own, instead of in a group! Your DreamBreak does not include an In-destination Support team member so you can create your own adventures, your way.

Board the Mardi Gras in Copenhagen, Denmark, and get ready to be wowed by the latest and greatest in the Carnival fleet. Launching in 2020, this New Orleans-inspired ship will debut amazing features such as the first roller coaster at sea, BOLT™, and 6 themed "neighborhoods." With a comedy club in Grand Central, a jazz club in the French Quarter and a pool and hangout areas in Summer Landing — and so much more — you’ll find something fun to suit everyone in the family!

The first stop on your 9-night voyage is Kiel, Germany, where you can walk to the promenade for museums and shopping. It’s also the closest port to Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city. You’ll then spend a full day at sea, where you can do any onboard activities you haven’t experienced yet. Why not start at The Ultimate Playground zone? There, you’ll find WaterWorks, an aqua park featuring the Twister Waterslide and PowerDrencher, a massive bucket of water ready to soak passengers! Or, team up to play basketball and mini-golf at the SportsSquare.

Once you reach Gothenburg, Sweden, consider a stroll along the cobblestone streets of the Haga suburb to Maritiman, the world’s oldest floating museum. For something different, try the Volvo Museum or Avenyn, or Avenue, the city’s main boulevard. From there, you'll sail through the Oslo Fjord to Oslo, the capital of Norway and home to the Norwegian Maritime Museum, the Munch Museum, the Oslo Opera House and other popular sites. After another enjoyable day at sea, you’ll dock in the largest port in Europe, Rotterdam, Netherlands. Renowned for its culture, festivals, nightlife and a thriving business district, it boasts other fun sites to visit such as Euromast observation tower and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.

Continue to Zeebrugge, Belgium, gateway to Brussels — internationally known for its decadent chocolates, top-rated beers and grand cathedrals. Then, you’ll dock in the major French port of Le Havre. With access to both Paris and Normandy, you can visit world-famous destinations like the Notre Dame Cathedral, Eiffel Tower and Louvre Museum in Paris, or explore the historic beaches of Normandy — site of the Allied invasion of Axis-controlled France in World War II. From there, sail through to Southampton, England, where you’ll disembark with amazing memories of your new favorite cruise ship!

What we love:
• Strap into the motorcycle-like seat on the sea coaster and get ready for an adrenaline rush like no other as BOLT takes you on an open-air, top-deck course high above the water (rides are at an additional cost). Hold on for that hair-raising high-speed funnel turn!
• Gothenburg earned the nickname “Little London” after industrializing and attracting the attention of many Englishmen and Scotsmen.
• Once hunger strikes, head to Lido neighborhood and Guy’s Burger Joint to feast on a delicious Guy Fieri-style burger or to BlueIguana Cantina to savor fresh tacos and homemade salsa.
• Belgium is home to more castles per square mile than any other country in the world.
